At first I used the soap alone and it was very harsh on my skin. The second time around I diluted the soap with boiling water and once cooled I mixed with raw honey plus aloe vera gel. I love that the one bar can have such multiple uses. I use it as a facial bar and even a shampoo (its lather game is strong!!). I had a rash on my neck and just using this to wash my neck dealt with the problem.
