**Components of essential oilsA note from our supplier: Pentylene Glycol has a zero listed hazard rating in Cosmetic Data Base and there are 23 published articles which provide interesting data and note studies done back in the 1970’s – in all of these, there was only one case listed of Dermatitis in Belgium and two cases in Cleveland, Ohio, in which the use of a topical cream containing Pentylene Glycol was suspected (not determined) to be the cause of the Dermatitis. www.ewg.org (Skin Deep Data Base) rates Pentylene Glycol as zero hazard. On www.goodguide.com it is listed as having no health concerns and is not on their list of hazardous ingredients. We use Pentylene Glycol only in our creams and lotions, which contain a higher water content and therefore need a proven strong preservative, and we consider it to be the safest and healthiest preservative currently available in the absence of a reliable natural preservative.

16/09/2022, By TarynIt is with a sad heart I leave this updated review. The second Day Cream jar that the sales manager Ryno sent me was nothing like the first one. It was white in colour had no divine scent and was a thicker texture, also felt drier and stickier on the skin. I reported it and, in the meantime, as I could not wait, I ordered another combo day/night for dry skin. The day cream was not as white but also not its usual yellow colour, no divine scent however it felt better than the other white jar on my skin but still not happy. Ryno has gone out of his way to rectify things and has sent me two jars that are correct, however he explained to me management have explained away this inconsistency putting it down to it being a natural product and that I should be aware of this as I have used the VG products since '08. Well, I can honestly tell you I never experienced a problem with VG creams until last year. No one wants to play the lottery when ordering your fav cream. Once again, a MASSIVE shout out to Ryno for caring and doing what he can to assist me but going fwd. I feel his hands may be tired in this respect.19/04/2022, By TarynTwo weeks back the new marketing manager for VG got in touch - sent me product that I use to use and I am very PLEASED to report that VG are back on track again!! New packaging is glass, and I understand that change but best of all the formula is how it was before if not better. It smells divine and my skin is responding positively.
