House of Cedar are a local company based in Roodepoort, where they process Raw American Red Cedar wood. They create the most deliciously fragrant and natural solutions for insects, mould and mildew in the form of American Red Cedar Wood, renowned (and tested) for its ability to repel unwanted fleas, cockroaches, clothe moths and mould. It was founded by Kuven Naicker who was inspired by his own vegetarian and organic lifestyle as he became aware that so many of the products we use are cancer forming and toxic, as well as being harmful to the environment. As he became aware of toxic ingredients he began to seek out natural non-toxic alternatives and was lead to the eco-friendly, sustainable solution of American Red Cedar Wood for replacing conventional insecticides such as chemical moth balls and sprays.
