4 out of 5 people would recommend this product04/11/2016, By MichaelaAbsolutely loved it! Only 4 stars because like one other reviewer I did have some dissolving issues in milk but other than that fantastic. Next time I will add less than the recommended amount of powder because it was too much (that which dissolved made it perfectly). Definitely a sipping hot chocolate and sincerely looking forward to it in winter around a fire.21/06/2016, By KaeylaAdjust the amount of powder to your taste and use it with hemp milk - or ordinary milk if you
e not vegan - and it is truly delicious. Particularly in this cold weather it is warming and decadent and Im hooked.03/06/2016, By MickyI honestly wished I could give this product a better review. Based on the description and other reviews I had very high hopes for this it and was a bit disappointed when it didn live up to my expectations.
For one thing, I found it way too rich, even when using a 250ml cup instead of the recommended 80ml one and halved the powder. The cocoa butter leaves a yucky fatty layer floating on the liquid and forms small pellets of bitter chocolate at the bottom of the cup, especially if you use milk instead of boiling water. And using boiling water doesn make it better either - it becomes very weak and the cocoa is just too overpowering.
For another, there are quite big clumps of what I assume is agave in the powder which causes some of the servings of hot chocolate to be overly sweet and others to be a bit bitter. The bag it came in didn work well for me either and I had to transfer it to a glass container to have easier access to the powder. It is also rather expensive for a locally produced product, probably because of the imported ingredients.
However, it does have a few things going for it: its vegan, dairy-free, cane-sugar free, organic and made of ethically sourced cocoa which is why Im giving it two stars.26/03/2015, By deneabsolutely delicious ! :)30/05/2014, By TAMMYReally devine, rich hot chocolate. Dissolves best at low heat in a pot on the stove. A real treat!
