It also doesn't dissolve properly, so you need to dissolve it in warm water first and then add it to your load. We have a cold water washing machine so need to pre-mix the powder in hot water beforehand, but this becomes routine eventually. It foams very well and cleans clothes effectively. If you don't have a hot water machine you need to mix it in hot water before adding to your wash, so it takes a bit of extra time - but well worth it! Although I’d change the name to “Nature Soap - Soap Nut Dishwashing Powder”. I have tried quite a few natural alternatives for my dishwasher but none of them were effective. This leaves them sparkly clean with no oily or filmy residue! I am delighted!
