5 out of 5 people would recommend this product31/01/2019, By MarietjieTo me this porridge has a bit of sour taste and better with cold milk. A little getting use to I think.08/10/2018, By AdeleI absolutely love this porridge! Yes the bag is a bit small, but not much is needed per serving in order to get full. It tastes yummy and is super healthy!11/05/2018, By LynI wanted to like this more than I do. I mean, its raw, its sprouted, its got great, healthy ingredients, its easy to make; it saves me the time of soaking, sprouting and grinding up my own. But for me, the taste is just not that great. My kids ate it, but it certainly wasn't a massive hit and its not their favourite.
Plus, the bag is kinda small. It doesn't go far. So buying often would work out fairly pricey.
But given all its great qualities, I'd still recommend you give it a go at least once and decide for yourself.17/03/2018, By NicciI've tried the Herbivore clusters and the porridge, both are great. Sprouted buckwheat is the key - basically meaning it's been soaked in water for a bit and then 'activated' (hydrated at a low temperature).
@Leeleee I also find myself frustrated with a lot of organic cereals, but for me it's about the amount of cheap stuff I don't like if I'm paying a fortune for the product, such as oats. This product doesn't have that - you're getting quality product, not to mention the sprouting process. I sometimes make a similar cereal (guess you could try that, grind up similar ingredients leaving out the ones you're allergic to) but I still find myself going back to buying this one when I don't have time to make my own.28/12/2017, By LeeleeI have not actually used this cereal. I find it so frustrating that a porridge like this can't be without nuts or flax/chia. I have an almond/flax and chia allergy. They make things gluten and dairy free just to add some other highly allergenic food.
