The perfect vegan substitute for honey!
Plastic packaging sucks though - so one less star for that.14/05/2019, By NicoleGreat alternative to honey when baking.05/04/2019, By MeganYummy.19/09/2018, By PeterFantastic health alternative to any other syrup or honey.10/05/2018, By CarlaGood quality. Good taste. Good substitute!23/03/2018, By MeganA good product.26/02/2018, By LouiseTaste is great. I've only used it in 1 baked product and it went really well.17/01/2018, By DeidreI love this product because it tastes like a cross between honey and syrup and doesn't have any of that horrible Stevia taste one gets when trying to substitute sugar. I got 4 jars!15/01/2018, By MoniqueTastes quite nice, a good alternative to agave.16/07/2017, By MeganIt's hard to keep ants from crawling into the jar no matter how tightly I put on the lid.11/03/2017, By NeoI have reduced the amount of sugar I consume and so I cannot tolerate too much sweetness. I bought this to replace honey and I very happy with the level of sweetness, much lower than honey.04/11/2016, By EsmeI also did the I Quit Sugar programme and started using rice syrup. It doesn have a nasty aftertaste and is absolutely delicious. Its a bit expensive, but Ive found that after quitting sugar, I just don crave sweet things anymore, so I don use much of the syrup and don use it that often and it lasts quite long. When I do use it, its a complete treat!18/02/2016, By AmeliaI am currently doing an 8 week I Quit Sugar programme and rice syrup was recommended as a sweetener for baking, smoothies etc. It is a terrific substitute as it contains no fructose and very little is required to sweeten a smoothie.06/01/2015, By GiulianaIn the I quit sugar for life book, the author keeps mentioning Rice Malt Syrup. Finally on Faithful I found this Rice Syrup.
I could eat the entire jar! it smells and tastes soo good (and sweet :)). I now use it when I make my granola Müesli or it could go on pancakes, ice cream etc etc. anywhere where one would have used honey or maple syrup. Not cheap but worth it.
