Foodology

At Foodology they’re a little obsessed with delicious food that is ethically and sustainably produced and truly nourishing. The founder Anastasia developed a passion for food when she began to cook for her family when her mother passed away when she was young. From the UK to Australia and back to South Africa she has followed a culinary adventure, gaining a degree in Food Science, learning about Ayurvedic cooking and other traditional cuisine and working as a food developer for Marks & Spencer and Woolworths, all the while cultivating her love of whole, sustainably grown, organic food.

Her passion gave birth to Foodology in 2013 at her homestead Fig Tree House where she grows organic veggies and teaches people about healthy living, with a focus on eating local, sustainable and seasonable wholefood – an honest-to-goodness approach to food. The Foodology ethos is about food in its most natural whole form and creating a balanced, healthy lifestyle that is as natural as possible, better for your health and for the future of our planet.
