If you need some kitchen inspiration, we've put together a collection of wonderful books and blog posts full of recipes featuring many of the natural eco-friendly ingredients we stock.

For the yeast:

  • ½ cup (125 ml) warm water

  • 1 tsp (5ml) Natura Dark Muscovado Sugar

  • 1 sachet (10g) instant dry yeast

For the dough:

  • 2 ½ cups + 3 tbs (430g) Eureka Unbleached Stone Ground Cake Flour plus extra for kneading

  • 1/3 cup (67g) melted butter OR odourless coconut oil as an alternative

  • ½ cup (125ml) organic milk OR unsweetened almond milk as an alternative

  • 1/3 cup (83,3ml) Natura Dark Muscovado Sugar OR coconut sugar as an alternative

  • 1 tbs (15ml) organic ground turmeric

  • 1 tsp (5ml) organic vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp (5ml) sea salt

For the cinnamon cocoa sugar filling:

  • ½ cup (125ml) Natura Dark Muscovado Sugar OR coconut sugar as an alternative

  • 1 ½ tbs cinnamon

  • 1/4 cup (62,5ml) butter, melted

  • 1-2 tbs raw cocoa paste – finely chopped

  • 100g pecan nuts – roughly chopped
