Inspired by their discovery, the Khoisan began to brew their own alcoholic honey drink, called “Karri”. Karri bears many similarities to the better-known Nordic Mead.

They say it's raw and unfiltered, but it tastes and looks very much processed and overly suspiciously sweet. Will not purchase again. It almost tastes like a mix of processed honey and syrup.
