Our waterways and seas are getting progressively more and more polluted as tons of harmful chemical detergents, disinfectants, bleach and many other regularly used household cleaning agents and body products are washing into them daily. It is time for this abuse to stop and for conscious living on all levels to start.
Our superb new cleaning range has been formulated and is manufactured using the very finest and most effective ingredients we can source. A mixture of two foaming agents have been used. Decyl glucoside which is a Surfactant foaming Agent, and is approved by Ecocert and BDIH as a natural product. It is made by combining a fraction of palm or coconut oil with glucose. The product has been tested for biodegradability and found to be freely and rapidly biodegradable. This means that it will generally be degraded into its components (fatty acid and glucose) in 4 to 8 hours. Combined with this is Cocamidopropyl betaine – Co-surfactant (Approved by Soil Association, Ecocert and BDIH) This ingredient is extracted from coconut oil. It has an excellent safety record and is very well tolerated. It is approved under the Nordic Swan mark scheme that measures the environmental and health impact of cosmetic ingredients. We have combined these two superior foaming agents with locally produced organic essential oils wherever possible.
Directions for Use:
Add one tablespoon (approx 15ml) to an average size load.
Sodium Benzoate is listed as a nasty in our pocket guide when used for food. But why then do we allow it in our cosmetics? The amount of sodium benzoate used in cosmetics is much smaller than in food as a preservative. Furthermore, the molecules are too large to be absorbed by the skin. This preservative has been allowed by Ecocert; the Soil Association and BDIH. It has been ranked by the EWG as having a low risk of 1. BUT there are reports circulating on the internet that warn against usage of the preservative even in cosmetics. We believe it is still one of the safer preservatives, but as always, we wanted you to be in the loop. The choice is yours to make.

8 out of 9 people would recommend this product29/11/2017, By GuinevereI've been buying this occasionally for many years. Smells and works wonderfully. I use a softner when I don't wash with soapnuts, and this is the best.03/10/2017, By BernadetteSmells lovely & as it states on the label. It makes your clothes soft. Clothes are so soft and smell great!24/12/2015, By BarbaraI love this softener - After trying most of the others this is the one that will be my first choice if it is in stock.20/11/2014, By SusanThis product works really well with sensitive skin, as my husband usually gets a rash with other laundry softeners.16/11/2011, By NirvanaI was quite disappointed with this product. I have a 9kg machine and I had to use about 1.5 tablespoons for clothes: Slightly stiff but passable. For towels I use about 2 tablespoons or more and the towels are still very stiff. I don’t want to use more than that for the towels because that would make it completely uneconomical. I hate strong scents but this could do with a slightly stronger scent.09/11/2011, By SandsLove this product to bits, it works well, and it smells lovely! I use a tablespoon and a half in my big 13kg washing machine together with my bio-washballs. For heavily soiled clothes I add the Enchantrix I wash laundry and for stains I use the spoil yourself stain stick. My winning combo!
