19/01/2021, By Chung-yuYummy and extremely filling. I tend to use it on Tuesdays for Taco Tuesday.19/11/2020, By AnnaI had never cooked with it before and tried it in a curry with lime and coconut. It's the best curry I've ever had - needless to say this is a new ingredient in my pantry!22/05/2020, By BronwenIt is rather pricey, but when you can afford it, it is such a delicious thing to cook. It has a salty and sweet taste and is much better that any meat, in my opinion.04/05/2020, By WendyI've tried a couple of brands of tinned jackfruit, and this was by far the best one. Despite being tinned, it was fresh and delicious. I paired it with a good BBQ sauce and made vegan pulled pork, and it worked out wonderfully. Very impressed with this product!08/04/2020, By KateI decided to try out this product after reading a lot of vegan recipes using it as a meat substitute. It works very well in curries or very spicy/barbeque sauces and when cooking it becomes a "shredded meat" consistency. I did cut mine up into smaller pieces before cooking. I found that the tangy fruit flavour still present hence recommend using a strong-flavoured sauce to overpower this natural tangy fruit flavour.
