I have a 10 year old, extremely overweight Dachshund with very short legs. She had a bit of a limp. Obviously her weight is putting strain on her legs. We have decided to take her for walks, but before each walk I give her one of these tablets. Not only has she lost some weight from the walking, she has stopped limping, has more energy and a bounce in her step, she now gets exited for her walks. I highly recommend this to anyone with an older dog. It will help them with general pain and you will definitely see a difference in your fur baby.
