A note from our supplier: Pentylene Glycol has a zero listed hazard rating in Cosmetic Data Base and there are 23 published articles which provide interesting data and note studies done back in the 1970’s – in all of these, there was only one case listed of Dermatitis in Belgium and two cases in Cleveland, Ohio, in which the use of a topical cream containing Pentylene Glycol was suspected (not determined) to be the cause of the Dermatitis. www.ewg.org (Skin Deep Data Base) rates Pentylene Glycol as zero hazard. On www.goodguide.com it is listed as having no health concerns and is not on their list of hazardous ingredients. We use Pentylene Glycol only in our creams and lotions, which contain a higher water content and therefore need a proven strong preservative, and we consider it to be the safest and healthiest preservative currently available in the absence of a reliable natural preservative.

Great for my combo skin.09/09/2015, By NatalieI absolutely love this whole range and swear by it. I have combination skin and thought I would try this night cream instead of the Rosemary night cream. It lacks a bit of richness for me but is probably perfect for oilier skins.02/06/2015, By LindiI really like Victorian Gardens creams. I use it along with the English Lavender Cucumber Day Cream and it works great.11/12/2014, By TaraThe cream is super absorbent and leaves my skin feeling soft and silky. Love Victoria Garden products - organic and not tested on animals!26/07/2014, By AngI have combination skin that is dry and breaks out easily. Love this cream will buy it again. Absorbs easily into skin, Takes about 15 minutes before you can feel it work, but my skin is soft and plump. Also reduced the break outs.05/06/2014, By CordeliaThe smell is something to get use to, but overall it is a great night cream and I will surely keep on using it.06/05/2014, By MariaOverall a good cream, makes my skin feel smooth and nourished. The downside is that the smell is really not great, especially as it is busy absorbing! It also doesn absorb as quickly as other creams I have used in the past.20/08/2013, By LouisaNot mad about the smell, but it absorbs quickly and makes my skin feel really great.30/09/2011, By NatI am very impressed with this night cream. It balanced out my confused skin in just a month, it lasts ages & is so gentle I've used it on my eyes to soothe dry skin on the upper lids.05/08/2011, By TamaraThis is the best night cream I've ever used - my skin is smoother and and more refined when I wake up in the morning, plus it cleared my breakouts.
