Directions for Use
- Wash your hands before beginning.
- Remove the sterile swab from its packaging without touching the tip.
- Gently insert the swab approximately 5cm into the vagina.
- Hold in place for around 10 seconds to allow sufficient moisture collection.
- Remove the swab and open the test panel.
- Press the moist swab onto the pH test strip at least 5 times to transfer the sample.
- Compare the colour on the test area with the pH colour chart on the foil pouch while the test area is still moist.
- Follow the enclosed instruction leaflet for further, more detailed instructions and before interpreting the result.
Safe Handling Guidelines
- Wash your hands before and after sample collection.
- Cover all cuts and abrasions on your hands with a waterproof dressing.
- If using any collection container, ensure it is thoroughly washed and clean, with no soap residue remaining.
- Take precautions whenever handling body fluids and immediately clean and disinfect any spills.
- Always wear gloves and appropriate protective equipment when handling another person’s body fluids.
