So of course we thought we\u2019d find a deliciously decadent vanilla recipe to share with all our Faithful fans as well.<\/p>\n<p>This gourmet creation is vegan-friendly and gluten-free; baker and blogger Sugar Mama has put together a divine recipe that can be used to make a vanilla cake, or a batch of cupcakes. Perfect for a spot of weekend baking!<!--more--><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Gluten-Free Vegan Vanilla Cake<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00be\u00a0cup <a href=\"http:\/\/www.faithful-to-nature.co.za\/Health-Connection-Stoneground-Brown-Rice-Flour-p-4974.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">brown rice flour<\/a><\/li>\n<li>\u00be\u00a0cup <a href=\"http:\/\/www.faithful-to-nature.co.za\/Natures-Choice-Tapioca-Flour-p-4276.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tapioca flour<\/a><\/li>\n<li>\u00bd\u00a0cup <a href=\"http:\/\/www.faithful-to-nature.co.za\/Crede-Milled-Coconut-Flour-p-4526.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">coconut flour<\/a><\/li>\n<li>1 cup organic cane sugar<\/li>\n<li>\u00bdtsp sea salt<\/li>\n<li>1tsp <a href=\"http:\/\/www.faithful-to-nature.co.za\/Creeds-Gluten-Free-Aluminium-Free-Baking-Powder-p-2901.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">gluten-free baking powder<\/a><\/li>\n<li>1tsp gluten-free baking soda<\/li>\n<li>1tsp xanthan gum<\/li>\n<li>1Tbsp Vanilla Man <a href=\"http:\/\/www.faithful-to-nature.co.za\/Vanilla-Man-Vanilla-Paste-p-5609.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">vanilla paste<\/a>\u00a0OR <a href=\"http:\/\/www.faithful-to-nature.co.za\/Vanilla-Man-Vanilla-Powder-p-5606.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">vanilla powder<\/a><\/li>\n<li>\u00bd\u00a0cup plain <a href=\"http:\/\/www.faithful-to-nature.co.za\/Amaizin-Organic-Coconut-Milk-p-1588.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">coconut milk<\/a> OR almond milk<\/li>\n<li>1 cup warm water<\/li>\n<li>3Tbsp <a href=\"http:\/\/www.faithful-to-nature.co.za\/Crede-Organic-Virgin-Coconut-Oil-p-540.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">coconut oil<\/a> OR <a href=\"http:\/\/www.faithful-to-nature.co.za\/True-Foods-Organic-Cold-Pressed-Grapeseed-Oil-p-2918.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">grapeseed oil<\/a><\/li>\n<li>1 teaspoon lemon juice<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc\u00a0cup unsweetened applesauce<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Sugar Mama says: This mixture should make 12-14 cupcakes, two 7\u201d cakes or one large 9\u201d cake.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.veganbaking.net\/recipes\/cakes\/sponge-cakes\/sugar-mamas-gluten-free-vanilla-cake\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Check out Sugar Mama\u2019s recipe here.<\/a><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Method:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Preheat your oven to 375\u00b0F (191\u00b0C).<\/li>\n<li>Measure the coconut\/ almond milk into a measuring cup &amp; add the lemon juice. Set aside.<\/li>\n<li>Whisk together all the dry ingredients.<\/li>\n<li>Add all liquid ingredients to the dry ingredients &amp; mix with an electric mixer until smooth.<\/li>\n<li>Fill your cupcake wrappers or greased cake pans with the batter (Hint: Grease your pans with a little coconut oil).<\/li>\n<li>Cupcakes: Bake for 15-20 minutes; Cake: Bake for 30 minutes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Now, how about topping your cake with some delicious vanilla-pear frosting?<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Easy Vanilla Frosting<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00bd cup <a href=\"http:\/\/www.faithful-to-nature.co.za\/By-Nature-Raw-Cashews-p-5253.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">raw cashews<\/a>, soaked overnight<\/li>\n<li>1Tbsp raw agave<\/li>\n<li>1Tbsp\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.faithful-to-nature.co.za\/Vanilla-Man-Vanilla-Extract-50ml-p-5608.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Vanilla Man vanilla extract<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Dash of sea salt<\/li>\n<li>2 small pears<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc cup <a href=\"http:\/\/www.faithful-to-nature.co.za\/Crede-Organic-Virgin-Coconut-Oil-p-540.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">coconut oil<\/a>, melted<\/li>\n<li>1Tbsp <a href=\"http:\/\/www.faithful-to-nature.co.za\/Health-Connection-Glucomannan-Powder-p-1927.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">glucomannan powder<\/a> or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.faithful-to-nature.co.za\/Natures-Choice-Corn-Starch-p-4275.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cornstarch<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Method:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Drain the cashews. Place them in a high-speed blender with the pears, agave, vanilla &amp; salt. Blend until smooth &amp; creamy.<\/li>\n<li>While the blender is running, drizzle in the coconut oil.
