Made with our fab <a href=\"http:\/\/www.faithful-to-nature.co.za\/Health-Connection-Chickpea-Flour-p-3668.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">chickpea flour<\/a> (also known as besan), these are naturally gluten-free cookies with added protein and fibre. Indulgent, wholesome and easy to make \u2013 ideal for baking on a winter day.<!--more--><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>2 cups <a href=\"http:\/\/www.faithful-to-nature.co.za\/Health-Connection-Chickpea-Flour-p-3668.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">chickpea flour<\/a><\/li>\n<li>\u00bd cup butter\/ <a href=\"http:\/\/www.faithful-to-nature.co.za\/Oh-Mega-Almond-Nut-Butter-p-3766.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">almond butter<\/a>, slightly softened<\/li>\n<li>1\u00be cups brown sugar<\/li>\n<li>2 eggs<\/li>\n<li>\u00bctsp <a href=\"http:\/\/www.faithful-to-nature.co.za\/Nielsen-Massey-Organic-Madagascar-Bourbon-Vanilla-Extract-p-4789.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">vanilla essence<\/a><\/li>\n<li>\u00bdtsp salt<\/li>\n<li>\u00bdtsp baking soda<\/li>\n<li>\u00bdtsp <a href=\"http:\/\/www.faithful-to-nature.co.za\/Creeds-Gluten-Free-Aluminium-Free-Baking-Powder-p-2901.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">gluten-free baking powder<\/a><\/li>\n<li>1\u00bd cups chocolate chips<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Method:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Mix butter, sugar, eggs &amp; vanilla together in a bowl.<\/li>\n<li>Mix chickpea flour, salt, soda &amp; baking powder in a separate bowl.<\/li>\n<li>Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients &amp; mix thoroughly.<\/li>\n<li>Stir in the chocolate chips &amp; nuts.<\/li>\n<li>Preheat oven to 350\u00b0F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.<\/li>\n<li>Let the dough chill in the freezer for about 10min.<\/li>\n<li>Drop by the tablespoon onto the baking sheet.<\/li>\n<li>Bake at 350\u00b0F for 10-15min.<\/li>\n<li>Leave on the baking sheet to cool for a few minutes.
