All the benefits of CBD&nbsp; wrapped up in a divinely chocolatey gooey brownie without any of the illegal substances. CBD-laced treats are growing in popularity, have you made anything delectable with added benefits?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019ve personally been experimenting with CBD oil, and have noticed a significant difference in my mood and stress levels. I usually add it to my evening tea or cacao, but thought it could be a nice inclusion in something sweet for a mellowed out treat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chocolate is a natural anti-depressant and mood enhancer, as is hemp oil, so this seemed like a fitting couple. There is a very small amount in the brownies, but enough to give a small effect and this is the perfect recipe for a chilled night in with friends or your loved one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>INGREDIENTS<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>WET:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>180g <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.faithful-to-nature.co.za\/food\/pantry\/chocolate?vegan_status%5B0%5D=Vegan\" target=\"_blank\">dairy-free dark chocolate<\/a> <\/span>(60% cocoa mass or higher)<\/li><li>150g <a href=\"https:\/\/www.faithful-to-nature.co.za\/catalogsearch\/result\/?q=coconut+oil+\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">coconut oil<\/span><\/a><\/li><li>\u00bd cup aquafaba (chickpea brine)<\/li><li>1 tsp <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.faithful-to-nature.co.za\/vanilla-man-vanilla-extract-50ml\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">vanilla extract<\/span><\/a><\/li><li>1 tsp <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.faithful-to-nature.co.za\/faithful-to-nature-faithful-to-nature-apple-cider-vinegar-500ml\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">apple cider vinegar<\/span><\/a><\/li><li>1 tsp <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.faithful-to-nature.co.za\/health\/healing-botanicals\/cbd-products\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">CBD oil<\/span><\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>DRY:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>1\u00bd cups <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.faithful-to-nature.co.za\/faithful-to-nature-chickpea-flower-400g\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">chickpea flour<\/span><\/a><\/li><li>\u00bc cup<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.faithful-to-nature.co.za\/cocoafair-organic-dutched-cocoa-powder\" target=\"_blank\"> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">cocoa<\/span><\/a> or <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.faithful-to-nature.co.za\/superfoods-raw-organic-cacao-powder\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">cacao<\/span><\/a><\/li><li>\u00bd cup <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.faithful-to-nature.co.za\/natura-soft-light-brown-sugar\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">brown sugar<\/span><\/a><\/li><li>1tsp<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.faithful-to-nature.co.za\/natures-choice-baking-powder-bio-friendly\" target=\"_blank\"> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Baking powder<\/span><\/a><\/li><li>1 tsp<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.faithful-to-nature.co.za\/sally-ann-creed-sodium-bicarbonate\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"> Baking soda<\/span><\/a><\/li><li>Pinch salt<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em><strong>OPTIONA<\/strong><\/em><strong>L<\/strong><em>: <\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>45g dairy-free dark choc chips<\/li><li>50g <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.faithful-to-nature.co.za\/faithful-to-nature-walnuts-raw-250g\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">walnuts<\/span> <\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>METHOD<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Pre-heat the oven to 150\u00baC and prepare a square baking pan with <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.faithful-to-nature.co.za\/if-you-care-fsc-certified-parchment-baking-paper\" target=\"_blank\">baking paper<\/a> or a light coating of coconut oil. Melt the dark chocolate and oil together until set aside to cool completely. Beat the aquafaba and sugar together until light and fluffy (it takes a while). Add in the aquafaba, apple cider, vanilla and CBD oil. Then fold in the melted chocolate.<\/li><li>Sieve together all the dry ingredients or whisk lightly to break up any lumps. Mix the dry and wet ingredients until just combined, don\u2019t over mix. Add in the choc chips and crushed walnuts (save some walnuts for topping before baking). <\/li><li>Pour the mixture into the baking tray and sprinkle over the remaining walnuts. <\/li><li>Bake for 30 \u2013 40 minutes, at 30 minutes check to see if it is still gooey inside by pricking a knife in the centre \u2013 if it is bake for 5 minutes and check again \u2013 until the knife comes out clean. <\/li><li>Leave to cool completely before cutting into squares. <\/li><li>Brownies can be stored in the fridge in an <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.faithful-to-nature.co.za\/home\/equipment\/food-storage\" target=\"_blank\">airtight container<\/a> \u2013 they also freeze well.
