In a desperate search for skincare products that wouldn\u2019t aggravate my skin, I landed on the\u00a0Faithful to Nature (FTN) homepage for the first time about three years ago.\u00a0I remember scrolling through the facewashes, moisturisers and eye serums and feeling like\u00a0I\u2019d just struck gold.\u00a0Ever since that fateful day, FTN has been the absolute go-to for all my skin-related needs.\u00a0However, over time it\u2019s also become my favourite spot to shop for items to make my home\u00a0cosier and more eco-friendly.\u00a0Here\u2019s a list of my 8 favourite faithful buys over the past few years:<\/p>\n

Beaucience Cleansing Gel<\/p><\/div>\n

Beaucience Cleansing Gel<\/a><\/h3>\n

Since I have very sensitive skin that is prone to all sorts of imperfections, finding face\u00a0products that really work is a bit a nightmare.<\/p>\n

Fortunately, I stumbled upon the soap-free Beaucience Cleansing Gel about a year ago and\u00a0have never looked back. Since I started using it, unpleasant breakouts have been few and\u00a0far between and I\u2019ve even noticed that the little red splotches on my chin, nose and<\/p>\n

forehead\u00a0that used to bug me endlessly have almost disappeared entirely.<\/p>\n

PLUS, it\u2019s packed with all sorts of anti-ageing properties, which is a huge bonus.\u00a0Apart from this, it\u2019s also cruelty-free, locally made, organic and contains no palm oil \u2013 all of\u00a0which are of the utmost importance to me.<\/p>\n

Bee Natural Rich Rehydrating Face Balm<\/p><\/div>\n

Even though I have oily skin and normally avoid anything with the word \u2018rich\u2019 in its name, for\u00a0some reason I decided to give Bee Natural\u2019s Rich Rehydrating Face Balm a whirl.<\/p>\n

I ended up using it as a night cream and loved how it made my skin look plumper and more\u00a0dewy upon waking up in the mornings. The fact that it\u2019s completely natural (containing only\u00a0raw honey, beeswax, propolis and pollen) and has no scent also gets me really excited!\u00a0Having said that, I am quite careful not to overdo it and only use this lovely balm during\u00a0times when my skin needs the maximum TLC (when I have a heavy workload, many social\u00a0engagements in a single month etc) and rotate it with other night creams in between.<\/p>\n

Which brings me to a next favourite \u2013 Nautica\u2019s Organic Rosehip Oil.<\/p>\n

I started out using it purely as an eye serum in the evenings, but over time started\u00a0experimenting with it over my whole face. It was amazing how my skin just soaked it up and\u00a0that it didn\u2019t leave a greasy residue that would rub off on my pillows.\u00a0As with the face balm mentioned above, this organic rosehip oil has me waking up fresh-faced and glowing every time I use it.<\/p>\n

Although I do my best to love every single part of my body, I have to admit that the dimples\u00a0in my thighs get me down more often than I\u2019d like them to. I\u2019ve tried all sorts of remedies \u2013\u00a0from dry brushing and drinking apple cider vinegar daily to doing intensive leg exercises and\u00a0vigorous coffee scrubs \u2013 and probably have to start accepting that the orange peel simply\u00a0ain\u2019t going anywhere.<\/p>\n

I first started using Natraloe Anti-Cellulite Cream as part of one of these desperate attempts\u00a0to rid myself of this burden and was initially a little disappointed that it didn\u2019t seem to work.\u00a0However, I soon became attached to its fresh scent, slight gel-like texture and the refreshing\u00a0tingle it leaves on my skin. So, even though it might not be the miracle cellulite cure (it never\u00a0said it was), it\u2019s still my favourite body lotion!<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, I decided it was time to get serious about cutting down on plastic while\u00a0shopping (even though it often feels like a battle lost from the outset). So, to go with my army\u00a0of reusable shopping bags, I ordered a couple of packs of Tiptoe Totes\u2019 fine mesh fresh\u00a0produce bags.<\/p>\n

They have made it super easy to buy all my fruit and veg without having to unroll a single\u00a0one of those awful little flimsy bags!<\/p>\n

One of my more recent purchases, this adorable little ceramic burner is my new favourite\u00a0thing!<\/p>\n

Apart from the fact that it keeps my home smelling delicious all the time, it\u2019s also been a\u00a0huge help in keeping my sinuses clear this spring.\u00a0I love its rustic look and the fact that the bowl is separate from the body \u2013 this makes it much\u00a0easier to keep clean and refill.<\/p>\n

Soil Essential Oils<\/a><\/h3>\n

Of course, I can\u2019t have a ceramic burner without anything to fill it with! So, I also stocked up\u00a0on a couple of Soil Essential Oils at the same time. I have two favourite combinations right now, which I like to call:<\/p>\n

  1. Breathe easy:<\/em> A couple of drops of peppermint<\/a> and a couple more of eucalyptus<\/a> to help\u00a0keep my sinuses clear.<\/li>\n
  2. Christmas cookie:<\/em> A few drops of cinnamon leaf<\/a>, clove<\/a> and sweet orange <\/a>for a festive little\u00a0wind-down ritual at the end of the day.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    If, however, I had to pick my ultimate favourite FTN buy of all time, it would have to be my\u00a0Goddess Cup. Since I took the plunge and bought a one little more than a year ago, my\u00a0periods have been a lot less traumatic and I\u2019ve also saved a good deal of money on store-\u00a0bought personal hygiene products.<\/p>\n
