Want to turn it into a full meal, add some fresh rocket and you&#8217;ve got a delicious roast veg salad&#8230; Mmmmmm.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Serves: 4<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<h2>INGREDIENTS:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>3 \u2013 4 Medium beetroot<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd Cup <a href=\"https:\/\/www.faithful-to-nature.co.za\/good-life-organic-balsamic-vinegar\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">balsamic vinegar<\/a><\/li>\n<li>\u00bc Cup water<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc Cup <a href=\"https:\/\/www.faithful-to-nature.co.za\/truefoods-cold-pressed-sesame-oil\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sesame oil<\/a><\/li>\n<li>2 Tsp <a href=\"https:\/\/www.faithful-to-nature.co.za\/good-life-organic-dijon-mustard\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">whole grain Dijon mustard<\/a><\/li>\n<li>3 \u2013 4 heaping tbsp <a href=\"https:\/\/www.faithful-to-nature.co.za\/silan-date-syrup-400g\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Silan Natural Date Syrup<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>FOR SERVING:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.faithful-to-nature.co.za\/by-nature-raw-walnut-pieces\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Walnuts<\/a> (chopped)<\/li>\n<li>Fresh parsley<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2>METHOD:<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Halve each beetroot and cut each half in \u00bdcm slices<\/li>\n<li>Put them in a disposable aluminium pan.<\/li>\n<li>Mix all sauce ingredients, pour over the beetroot and mix.<\/li>\n<li>Bake for 40 minutes at 180\u00baC.<\/li>\n<li>After 20 minutes, remove the pan from the oven and rotate the beetroot.<\/li>\n<li>Tilt the pan so that the sauce gathers in a corner of the pan.<\/li>\n<li>Use a spoon to scoop up the sauce and baste the beetroot.<\/li>\n<li>Serve and enjoy!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Starter or side, this sweet and sticky beetroot adds a flavourful punch to any dish.
