Made with brown rice flour, they\u2019re a more nutritious alternative to wheat flour recipes and safe for those with gluten allergies.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>300ml <a href=\"http:\/\/www.faithful-to-nature.co.za\/Good-Life-Brown-Rice-Flour-p-3404.html\" target=\"_blank\">brown rice flour<\/a><\/li>\n<li>\u00bd tsp <a href=\"http:\/\/www.faithful-to-nature.co.za\/Health-Connection-Xanthan-Gum-p-4203.html\" target=\"_blank\">xanthan gum<\/a><\/li>\n<li>1 tsp <a href=\"http:\/\/www.faithful-to-nature.co.za\/Creeds-Gluten-Free-Aluminium-Free-Baking-Powder-p-2901.html\" target=\"_blank\">gluten-free baking powder<\/a><\/li>\n<li>50ml light brown sugar<\/li>\n<li>grated rind of 1 orange<\/li>\n<li>4 tbsp butter<\/li>\n<li>1 egg<\/li>\n<li>2 tbsp light corn syrup<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Preparation<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Preheat the oven to 325\u00b0F (160\u00b0C).<\/li>\n<li>Mix all the dry ingredients in a food processor, then feed the remaining ingredients into the mixture and blend.<\/li>\n<li>Add a little extra flour if the mixture becomes too sticky, or a little milk if it becomes too dry.<\/li>\n<li>Spoon the dough onto a surface dusted lightly with rice flour.<\/li>\n<li>Roll out to a thickness of about 6mm and use cookie cutters in the shapes of your choice to cut out 20 cookies; roll up any excess dough and rerolling and cutting again.<\/li>\n<li>Place the cookies on baking sheets and bake in the oven for about 10 minutes, until golden.<\/li>\n<li>Remove from the oven and transfer to a wire rack to cool.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This recipe makes about 20 gluten-free cookies.
