20 Nov, 2014<\/em>, By Saskia<\/cite> The cocoa butter is great together with raw cocoa powder (and dates and nuts, etc.) to make your own chocolates. I recommend buying the 1kg bag as it is better value for money… I recommend this for all the vegans and parents who want to give their kids a healthy treat.<\/q><\/a><\/p>\n

Heres my choc recipe:<\/a><\/p>\n

Melt cocoa butter together with dates (dried or fresh) in the pan. When cocoa butter is melted add to nuts in blender. Blend and put into bottom of cupcake tray. Youll get nice coin shaped chocolates.<\/a>
\n I often add dried cranberries and buckwheat (after blending) for a crunchy taste.<\/a>
\n You can use any nuts you like, I use cashews and almonds, but pistachios and macademias are also lovely depending on the flavour you want. If you soak the nuts for a night before blending you will get a nougat texture chocolate.<\/a>
