It&#8217;s a no-brainer we think to give your kids non-toxic play dough to explore.<\/p>\n<p><strong>YOU WILL NEED:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 cup <a href=\"https:\/\/www.faithful-to-nature.co.za\/eureka-rye-flour\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">flour<\/a> (here is the <a title=\"gluten-free flour\" href=\"http:\/\/www.faithful-to-nature.co.za\/Health-Connection-Gluten-Free-Flour-Mix-p-957.html\" rel=\"noopener\">gluten-free option<\/a>\u00a0for those that want it)<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup salt<\/li>\n<li>1 cup filtered water<\/li>\n<li>2 tablespoons <a title=\"olive oil\" href=\"http:\/\/www.faithful-to-nature.co.za\/Phileos-Organic-Extra-Virgin-Olive-Oil-p-2873.html\" rel=\"noopener\">olive oil <\/a><\/li>\n<li>1 teaspoon <a title=\"aluminium-free baking powder\" href=\"http:\/\/www.faithful-to-nature.co.za\/Creeds-Gluten-Free-Aluminium-Free-Baking-Powder-p-2901.html\" rel=\"noopener\">aluminium-free baking powder <\/a><\/li>\n<li>beet-, spinach-, and carrot-juice or follow the instructions below for other ways to naturally colour play dough<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>NATURAL COLOURING\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Raspberries\/Blueberries or Strawberries<\/strong> \u2013 simply boil a big handful of the fruit and a cup of water and then sieve to get the juice.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Rose Petals<\/strong> \u2013 tear up the petals of approx. 6 roses and boil with 1 cup of water, and sieve to get the juice.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Beetroot<\/strong> \u2013 1 medium sized beetroot boiled with a cup of water and sieved afterwards.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Turmeric<\/strong> \u2013 2 teaspoons with a cup of water and sieved afterwards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>INSTRUCTIONS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Mix the flour, baking powder, salt and oil, and slowly add water. Cook over medium heat, stirring until dough becomes stiff. Put onto wax paper and let cool. Knead the dough with your hands until it feels right.
