Chocolate, strawberry, vanilla, whatever may come, these are the classic flavours we chose from as kids \u2013 unless of course there was a zany bubblegum flavour in blue. They\u2019re classic because some things can\u2019t really be improved on! Here are some delicious, healthy vegan ice-cream recipes in classic flavours for you to enjoy this summer.<\/p>\n

Vegan Vanilla Ice-Cream<\/h2>\n

Taurus Ice Cream Maker 135W \u2018Casa Gelat<\/a><\/p><\/div>\n

Ingredients<\/em><\/p>\n

\u2022 1 cup raw cashews
\n\u2022 2 cups water
\n\u2022 \u00bc cup agave nectar
\n\u2022 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
\n\u2022 1 pinch sea salt<\/p>\n

How to:<\/em><\/p>\n

\u2022 Blend all the ingredients together in a blender on high speed
\n\u2022 Pour mixture into an ice-cream maker and follow the instructions for using the ice-cream maker<\/p>\n

Fudgy Cocao Avo Ice-Cream<\/h2>\n

Mellerware Ice Cream Maker 1.5L \u2018Crema Deluxe\u2019 <\/a><\/p><\/div>\n

Ingredients<\/em><\/p>\n

\u2022 1 avocado, peeled and pitted
\n\u2022 1 can full-fat chilled coconut milk
\n\u2022 \u00bd cup cocoa
\n\u2022 \u00bd cup agave nectar
\n\u2022 1 tablespoon vanilla extract<\/p>\n

How to:<\/em><\/p>\n

\u2022 Scoop the thick coconut cream in the coconut milk can into a bowl, keeping as much as the runny liquid out as you can
\n\u2022 Using a mixer or hand held whisk, beat, starting slow then increasing to medium speed until soft peaks become visible, about 5 minutes. Set aside
\n\u2022 Add the remaining ingredients to a food processor, including the remaining liquid of the coconut milk (avocado, cocoa, agave, vanilla) and blend until smooth and creamy
\n\u2022 Using a spatula, fold the coconut whipped cream into the cocoa-avocado mixture
\n\u2022 Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours
\n\u2022 Pour the mixture into an ice-cream maker and freeze according to instructions<\/p>\n

Strawberry Coconut Ice-Cream<\/h2>\n

Ingredients<\/em><\/p>\n

\u2022 2 cans coconut milk
\n\u2022 1 cup of fresh strawberries, diced
\n\u2022 zest from 1 orange<\/p>\n

How to:<\/em><\/p>\n

\u2022 Drain the liquid from the coconut milk and add the solids to a sauce pan
\n\u2022 Heat the milk over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until bubbles begin to appear
\n\u2022 Remove from heat, pour into a large bowl and chill in fridge for 6 hours
\n\u2022 Chop the strawberries and place in fridge to chill too
\n\u2022 Once cooled, pour the coconut milk into an ice-cream maker and freeze according to directions
\n\u2022 In the last 5 minutes of churning add the strawberries and orange zest
\n\u2022 Remove ice-cream from the ice-cream maker, give it a good stir to mix in strawberries and zest
\n\u2022 Freeze for another hour or until you serve it<\/p>\n
