The sweltering weather and festive season that has you dreaming of sitting back and relaxing to sip on a refreshing tonic is fast approaching. But that needn\u2019t mean you pay for it later with a headache \u2013 mocktails are taking off as the new way to enjoy a stylish and refreshing tipple without the topple. There are some delicious and healthy natural refreshments such as aloe water<\/a>, coconut water<\/a>\u00a0or kombucha<\/a> that have that refreshing pizzazz or balmy tropical flare that will put you in a festive mood, alcohol or no.<\/p>\n

Exotic Aloe Cooler<\/h2>\n

For a tonic with tropical touch that\u2019s also great for hydrating your skin, boosting your antioxidants and soothing your tummy.<\/p>\n

\u2022 2 cups fresh chopped pineapple
\n\u2022 1 cup mango chunks
\n\u2022 1 green apple
\n\u2022 4 tbsp aloe vera juice<\/a>
\n\u2022 2 tbsp coconut milk (optional)<\/p>\n

Blend them all up in a blender, chill and serve. A little tropical umbrella or two wouldn\u2019t go amiss.<\/p>\n

Nariyal Pani<\/h2>\n

This is a traditional Indian favourite made with coconut water<\/a>, that amazing healthy tropical drink for hot lazy days. It\u2019s recently been pepped up and enjoyed by the likes of Madonna and Claudia Schiffer.<\/p>\n

\u2022 120 mls coconut water<\/a>
\n\u2022 One bunch fresh sage
\n\u2022 \u00bd teaspoon saffron threads
\n\u2022 15ml\u00a0raw honey<\/a>
\n\u2022 Two pieces thinly sliced lemon
\n\u2022 \u00bc teaspoon cayenne pepper<\/a>
\n\u2022 Cinnamon sticks<\/a>
\n\u2022 60ml apple juice<\/p>\n

How to:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Pour the coconut water<\/a> over the sage, saffron, honey, lemon and cinnamon stick and pepper
\n\u2022 Leave to infuse for about 15 minutes
\n\u2022 Add apple juice and put in the fridge to cool for another 10 minutes
\n\u2022 Serve poured over crushed ice
\n\u2022 Garnish with coconut flakes and a cinnamon stick<\/p>\n

Summer Beauty Mocktail<\/h2>\n

Strawberries are a great anti-aging beauty food full of antioxidants and Coconut water is the perfect refreshment for hot days, replenishing electrolytes and hydrating you with its delicate tropical nectar.<\/p>\n

\u2022 250ml coconut water<\/a>
\n\u2022 250 ml strawberries hulled removed and sliced
\n\u2022 3 Tbsp agave nectar<\/a>
\n\u2022 1 shot of white rum (optional, if you are being a little naughty)<\/p>\n

How to:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

\u2022 Place the coconut water, strawberries & agave nectar in a blender and blend!
\n\u2022 Serve with lots of crushed ice<\/p>\n

Frozen Margherita Mocktail<\/h2>\n

An old favourite you can enjoy with added health benefits, minus the hangover!<\/p>\n

\u2022 1 cup kombucha<\/a>
\n\u2022 1\/2 teaspoon grated ginger
\n\u2022 1\/4 cup lime juice
\n\u2022 1 cup ice
\n\u2022 1 cup coconut water<\/a>
\n\u2022 Lime slices to garnish<\/p>\n

How to:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Blend all the ingredients until you have an icy crush
\n\u2022 Pour into two glasses
\n\u2022 Garnish with a lime & enjoy<\/p>\n

Mint Kombucha<\/a>\u00a0Fizz<\/h2>\n

Cool, refreshing, minty and great for boosting energy and a healthy tummy.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Handful of fresh mint
\n\u2022 1\/2 a small cucumber, sliced
\n\u2022 1\/2 a lime
\n\u2022 1 cup kombucha<\/a>
\n\u2022 1 cup coconut water<\/a><\/p>\n

How to:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

\u2022 Divide mint and lime between two glasses, mixing them together and bruising to combine and release their flavours
\n\u2022 Add 1\/2 cup of kombucha to each glass
\n\u2022 top with coconut water and sliced cucumber<\/p>\n
