Note from Faithful To Nature:
We have been debating including natural semi-permanent hair dye in our product range for almost 2 years but the demand from our customers continues to grow and whilst we don’t believe that there yet an natural hair dye on the market that fits our strict ingredient criteria, Vegetal is at least the safest for the moment.
PLEASE NOTE: Vegetal will disguise those first white or grey hairs, blending them into your natural hair colour. However since it contains no PPD and No Peroxide, it is not guaranteed to cover grey hair.
Vegetal is an extremely gentle and mild semi-permanent dye, available in 13 rich shades, with no Peroxide, no Ammonia, no PPD and no Paraben, meaning it is a lot safer for you and a lot gentler on your hair.
Vegetal is better to use during pregnancy, as it acts as a colour booster – adding lowlights and shine to your hair. Although these colours are not guaranteed to cover grey hair, many people who either can’t or choose not to use permanent hair colourants find that the Vegetal colours provide sufficient colour to their hair to camouflage the grey. The effect will depend on your hair type. Vegetal lasts 6-8 washes, is easy to apply (directly to hair without mixing) and is fragrance-free.
Vegetal is not tested on animals and is manufactured to the very highest, international (GMP) standards of practice. Furthermore Vegetal hair colour comes in biodegradable, recyclable packaging.

For your information:
How do Vegetal colourings compare to Henna?
Unlike Henna, Vegetal is easy to apply (directly to hair without mixing) and is fragrance-free. While Henna creates a solid coating around the hair shaft, Vegetal rinses out after 6-8 washes.
Are Phenylenediamines (PPDs) present in Vegetal?
Vegetal does not contain PPDs.
Does Vegetal contain anything that is chemically based?
Resorcinol, an oxidising agent, which is in the lowest possible quantities.
I have had allergic reactions to hairdyes in the past; will I react to Vegetal?
Since Vegetal is so mild, it’s extremely unlikely that you will react to Vegetal. However, there are a small number of people with allergic reactions to all kinds of substances, including natural ones, and we strongly advise performing a skin test prior to colouring your hair.
How often should I colour my hair?
We suggest re-colouring when the dye washes out, which is usually after 6-8 washes.
Will Vegetal cover my grey?
Vegetal will disguise those first white or grey hairs, blending them into your natural hair colour. However since it contains no PPD and No Peroxide, it is not guaranteed to cover grey hair. Vegetal acts more as a colour booster – adding lowlights and shine to your hair and allowing you to refresh colour tones between permanent hair colourings.
Will Vegetal lighten my hair?
Since Vegetal does not contain Peroxide, it cannot lighten hair. Instead it boosts your natural colour and adds a lovely shine.
