Calendula is a soothing and anti-inflammatory herb used on irritated skin such as psoriasis, chapped skin, sunburn and 'dry' eczema. It is great to have around in the house and use on skin that may need some healing. Not only is it really useful but this calendula ointment leaves a lingering smell of Rose and Lavender!

Calendula has been used to treat a variety of skin disorders, ranging from skin ulcerations to eczema. It has also been used to sooth stomach ulcers and inflammation. It is believed to help with the healing process with wounds, inflammations, burns (including sunburn), eczema, gastritis, peptic ulcers, ulcerative colitis and sore throats. Calendula is considered by many to be an effective detoxifying herb that can help with the toxicity associated many severe fevers and infections.
