Totally Wild Cape Aloe Ferox Drink is produced from aloe ferox plants which grow naturally in South Africa. No artificial colouring, flavouring or perservatives are added and all of Totally Wild’s products are certified Kosher. The drink contains aloe pulp, naturally occuring aloe polysaccharides, minerals and dietary fibre.

This drink is available in two other delish flavours:
  • Aloe & Mango
  • Aloe & Pomegranate

What does the juice do for you?
Aloe gel applied to the skin relieves many skin irritations, soothes burns and moisturizes the skin. Taken internally, the aloe gel has a similar effect on the mucous membranes lining the digestive tract. Research dating back some fifteen years or more both in South Africa and in the USA provides substantial anecdotal evidence that drinking a daily glass of aloe juice not only relieves heartburn, indigestion, symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome, colitis and various stomach disorders, but also assists in boosting the immune system.

Will it help my stomach ulcer?
The soothing effect of aloe polysaccharide gel has been known to give significant relief to ulcer sufferers.

    Can diabetics drink the juice?
The plain Aloe Drink is particularly effective for diabetics. It consists mainly of complex polysaccharides which constitutes a source of soluble dietary fibre. The beneficial role of soluble fibre is that it increases the viscosity of ingested food during the early digestive phase in the stomach and upper intestine. This action slows down the digestion of starch and other non-fibre carbohydrates, as well as the absorption of the resultant glucose, and therefore the production of insulin is moderated.

Is the juice safe for babies and children?
Yes, it is perfectly safe for this group. Babies can be given 1-2 teaspoonfuls per day to assist in building their immune system, or to help relieve the symptoms of colic.
