The Red Basket Food Company brings you Macadamia flour, a gluten-free flour that is also Banting friendly. It has a similar effect in your baked goodies as almonds though it has a slightly sweeter taste and is a little creamier. Macadamia’s have the highest percentage of healthy mono-unsaturated fats of all the nuts and contain palmitoleic acid, a fatty acid that speeds up fat metabolism. This flour will give you a fuller for longer effect and is great for your LCHF recipes. Use the Red basket Macadamia Flour in your tart crusts, pies, cookies and breads for yummy gluten-free vegan baking!

    02 Jan, 2016, By Esli I am an avid banter and usually use almond flour for baking. When I discovered this website I decided to use Macadamia Nut flour. To my surprise it tastes better than almond flour and is more cost effective. The texture is soft and fluffy and really brings a lightness to the baking. Absolutely love it!
