Each key ingredient in this formula has a special eco-friendly cleaning function.
- Citrus essential oil: Tough on grease and dirt, but gentle on skin and the environment.
- Coconut oil: Ideal for removing sticky residue.
- Caustic potash: This “strong base” is a highly alkaline cleaning substance that works to turn oil into liquid soap.
This dishwashing liquid soap is biodegradable and all-natural. Not tested on animals; contains no animal by-products.
- Use 1 – 2 tbsp per sink full of dishes.
- For very greasy dishes: Apply a small amount of dishwashing liquid to a cloth or sponge and wipe thoroughly before washing as normal.
- For hard baked-on food: Soak the dish for 10 – 30 minutes in very hot soapy water before washing as normal.
Water, coconut oil, caustic potash, citrus essential oil.

Murky water and a bad smell- not what I want to experience when I am tackling a mountain of dishes. It also leaves an oily residue. It was great at cleaning marks off my driveway I must admit. I dont debate cleanliness but really not pleasant to use compared to the other dish washing liquids Iv used from faithful to nature.

Product has to be used in VERY hot water. I use more than normal to clean dishes. Dissapointed with this product as I like their other products - mainly the castile soap bar.

Not Bad, But Not Great Either

Works well in very hot water as instructed. Need to use quite a bit more than the label suggests - otherwise you are left with a bit of an oily residue. Works like a bomb in a dishwasher in a pinch ;)
Pure Simple Dishwashing Liquid

Unlike other Pure Simple products, this one is a bit of a dud. Its very watery, so I ended up using too much in the diswashing water. It works better if you put it straight on the sponge, but you end up using a lot, too.
I don know about the citrus essential oils that are supposed to be in the liquid, but it smells like simple soap, like the unscented castile soap from the same range.

Inefficient and smells bad

Sorry but this product is a waste, as you need to use so much soap to get any use out of it and it doesn't smell good. I though it would be an earth-friendly and economical product but I ordered it less than a month ago and it's got about one more wash left.

Im happy that I only bought a small bottle of this dishwashing liquid. I do not like it at all.
It doesn get super foamy, which is fine, but once youve washed your dishes, they come out oilier than when they started.
If you don rub your dishes dry afterwards, they look and feel oily.
I will not buy this product again and I wouldn recommend it to anyone. :(

Works well with really hot water, but you can only do one sink of dishes otherwise it leaves an oily residue. Smells nice too. Doesnt foam but you get used to it quick.

Rather buy Better Earth or Earthsap, this smells funny, doesn foam well and leaves a oily residue.
