A quick one for braais and fry ups - take a rump steak and lightly cover both sides with cooking oil of your choice, then take the Persian braai spice and coat both sides of the steak and rub in. Rest meat in fridge until ready to cook.
KISHMISH TIP: after steak is cooked, put 2 or 3 tablespoons of a Kishmish jam of your choice, and a knob of butter into the frying pan to de- glaze and make a beautiful sauce - ready to accompany the steak on the side of the plate or put the sauce onto a wrap, place some salad and top with the Persian braai steak and wrap.
OR you can toss the delicious steak over a lovely salad and drizzle the sauce over the salad.
