The Lip Colours come beautifully moisturising and in various stunning shades to suit you.
These wonderful lipsticks are made without chemical dyes, preservatives or animal products except for beeswax and carmine. If you think about it – that's a massive bonus because if you wear lipstick every day, you will consume two tubes a year. That is a lot of product over a lifetime, particularly since most will contain chemical dyes (some of which are known to be carcinogenic) and synthetic preservatives. Furthermore, because the lips lack oil glands, the lipsticks have been specially formulated to be a conditioning and moisturising drink for your lips. These lipsticks also contain edible zinc for full-spectrum sun protection of an SPF 18.

The lipsticks have a delicious mint/vanilla flavour.

  • Lipsticks are made from a number of waxes, which can be white, brown, green, yellow, amber or black. Their use in cosmetics can be traced back to ancient Egypt, where women coated their bodies with a mixture of melted wax and essential oils. At festive occasions, their dancing would slowly melt the wax releasing the fragrance from the essential oils.
  • Castor Seed Oil is extracted from the beans of the castor-oil plant and is soothing to the skin.
  • Jojoba Ester Oil is extracted from the beanlike seeds of the desert shrub Simondsia chinensis. It has been used for many years by Mexican and American Indians for hair and skin care. Of any oil, it most closely resembles the skin's natural sebum. It gives some protection against UV rays. An ester is a molecule of a fatty acid and a fatty alcohol.
  • Borage Seed Oil is a herbal extract with emollient properties. It is rich in stores of a therapeutic fat called gamma linolenic acid (GLA), an omega-6 fatty acid. This also acts as an anti-inflammatory which may help to clear acne and rosacea.
  • Red 30 Lake is a natural dye from Indigo bonded to Calcium.
  • Red 7 Lake is a tree resin bonded to Calcium.

Castor Seed Oil, Isopropyl Jojobate, Jojoba Esters, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Candelilla Wax, Carnauba Wax, Beeswax, Grape Seed Extract, Peppermint Leaf Extract, Vanilla Fruit Extract, Flavor, Borage Seed Oil, Tocopherol, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Bisabolol. This product may contain Hydrated Silica, Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Iron Oxides, Carmine, Red 30 Lake, Red 7 Lake.
