A boon for all skin types, Liquid Minerals makes skin look more youthful, diminishes the appearance of lines and wrinkles, minimizes pores, evens out skin tone and adheres so well there is minimal transference. Furthermore, this light-diffusing, soft-focus minerals is encapsulated with ingredients that can replenish the cellular layers of the epidermis. You can immediately see and feel the difference in the look and health of the skin.

The beads or spheres visible in the airless pump are actually liposomes entrapping liposomes. This state-of-the-art technology allows the manufacturers to encapsulate large amounts of active ingredients, which are then time-released onto the skin. This controlled and sustained release into the epidermis increases delivery by up to 40%.

At the centre of the visible spheres lie minerals (mica, titanium dioxide, boron nitride and iron oxides), L-sodium hyaluronate acid (hyaluronic acid) and Olive Squalene all encapsulated by seaweed lipids. Floating around these larger spheres, are microscopic liposomes that individually encapsulate Coenzyme Q 10, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vitamins C), Vitamin K, Willow Bark Extract, Chamomile, Calendula, and Seaweeds (Algin, Agar and Carrageenan.)

The spheres are then suspended in a gel of aloe vera, lavender flower water and vegetable glycerin.

As the makeup is applied and worked into the skin, the body temperature breaks down the liposomes so that they can release their actives in a prolonged time-release action for the ultimate in skin health and protection. This formula has a natural pH of 6 and is so perfectly balanced that it needs no pH adjusters.

There are several methods of application:
  • Fingers
    Pump the mousse onto a spatula or the back of your hand. Apply the mousse the way you would a moisturiser. When applying it on yourself, use both hands. Let it set and then apply another layer if needed. You will have plenty of manipulation time before it sets. Once set, you may apply another layer if needed. Brush mineral powders on top for more coverage. Do not be afraid to use Liquid Minerals around the eyes as a concealer. It will also minimize fine lines. Use it on eyelids too, for the perfect base for eye shadows.
  • Cosmetic Sponge or Brush
    Pump the mousse onto a spatula or the back of your hand and pick it up with a sponge or brush. A dry sponge will give more coverage, a wet one more sheer coverage. Apply it to one area of the face at a time.

Top Tips
  • Apply the Liquid Minerals over the nose and other oily areas to minimize large pores. Then dust with pressed minerals over the entire face for an SPF 18 and a flawless finish.
  • For a young-hand look, rub Liquid Minerals on the back of the hands to minimize redness, veins and age spots.
