Flax oil is the richest natural source of an essential nutrient, Alpha Linolenic Acid (Omega 3)
Without an adequate intake of Omega 3 essential fatty acids (EFAs), the human body is unable to function properly. For example, since 60 percent of the human brain consists of fats, a lack of Omega 3 in a person’s diet can lead to reduced brain function and problems such as depression and poor concentration. Omega 3 deficiency manifests itself in other areas too: dry, cracked skin, brittle hair and nails, and joint pain are all classic symptoms.
