- 50 ml Annatto natural colouring for colouring cheese

This liquid Annatto attaches itself to the milk protein during the cheese making process
General dosage: 0,6ml per 10 liter Milk or according to your recipe specifications
Use: Add before Calcium Chloride and Rennet. Dilute colour with bottled or distilled water
Shelf life: It has an indefinite shelf life
A health note on annatto: There is contention about the safety of this ingredient, with some reports suggesting that it can cause allergic reactions that manifest in the skin as rashes, the gastro-intestinal system as irritation that causes irritable bowel, as well as possible irritation in the airways. There have been reports of people whose IBS or rashes cleared up after removing annatto from their diet, as well as parents finding their kid’s hyperactive behaviour improved noticeably. Other possible symptoms include headache and irritability.
